Falls Ridge Nature Preserve, located in Christiansburg, VA, is a stunning natural oasis boasting an impressive spring-fed travertine waterfall standing approximately 80 feet tall. The preserve's diverse vegetation, including wildflowers and smaller flora, thrives due to the unique soil types generated by the Salem Fault running through the area.
Originally owned by photographer and publicist Mr. William P. Bradley, Falls Ridge Preserve was generously deeded to The Nature Conservancy in 1974. Visitors can explore easy hiking trails offering views of the majestic waterfall while contributing to the preservation of the surrounding habitat through volunteer programs and stewardship efforts.
