He is experienced in advanced surgical techniques, including focused ultrasound, asleep deep brain stimulation (DBS), robotic-assisted surgery, laser ablation, stereo-encephalography (SEEG), dorsal root entry zone lesioning (DREZ), and minimally invasive treatments for pain management, such as trigeminal rhizotomy, radiosurgery, and percutaneous ablations. Through this research, he aims to enhance clinical outcomes by improving the understanding of underlying neural mechanisms. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Colorado and completed his neurosurgical residency and fellowship training in stereotactic, functional, and epilepsy neurosurgery at Duke University.
