Dr. Josh Bonkowsky is a professor of Pediatric Neurology (Pediatrics) and of Neurology. His undergraduate training was at Harvard University; he obtained his MD and PhD degrees at the University of California, San Diego, and did his Pediatrics and Neurology/Pediatric Neurology training at the University of Utah and Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Carey Wilson is a Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist who primarily cares for children with seizures, but also sees general neurology concerns. She is involved in all aspects of epilepsy care, from guiding diagnostic testing and medication management, to medication alternatives such as neurostimulation, ketogenic diet, and epilepsy surgery when appropriate. Research interests include novel anti-seizure therapies, patient quality of life outcomes, and expanding telemedicine access. She is an active patient advocate by serving as Early Career Liaison for the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) Section on Neurology, and sitting on the Advisory Board for the Utah Epilepsy Foundation. Dr. Sweney is a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of drug-resistant pediatric epilepsy. He is Medical Director of the Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program at Primary Children’s Hospital and Program Director of the Pediatric Epilepsy Fellowship at the University of Utah.
