She completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine, and received her MPH in Health Systems Management at Tulane, then moved to Rochester, NY to complete dual post-doctoral clinical and research fellowships in adolescent medicine and preventive cardiology at the University of Rochester. Dr. Underhill graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, then he obtained an M.D. from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After an interesting diversion that included a General Surgery internship and two-years of Neurological Surgery residency training at the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Underhill entered graduate school and obtained a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Washington. Dr. Raleigh received her medical degree from Brown University and completed her Pediatric residency as well as her Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Utah. She is board certified in General Pediatrics. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. Her research interests include congenital hypothyroidism and type 1 diabetes. Her clinical interests include type 1 diabetes as well as disorders of growth, puberty, the thyroid and adrenal glands.
