Following medical school, Wang completed her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, where she further refined her surgical skills in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures and was known for her commitment to excellence and dedication to advancing patient care. To build on her expertise, Wang pursued a fellowship in microvascular reconstruction and microsurgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, a premier institution for cancer treatment and research. During her fellowship, she focused on her two passions, breast reconstruction and lymphedema surgery. Outside of work, her greatest joy is her family. She enjoys painting, cooking, traveling, and trying new restaurants in Houston with a Canadian flair on the menu.
