We eat here every year when we visit Hilton Head and we always head to the Wreck instead of the Salty Dog because they have excellent outdoor dining on the deck. It's more quiet than the Salty Dog...

Handsome young men from Montenegro servers did their best, but the bar and kitchen let them down. Every year we travel to Hilton Head for a week of beach. Eating out at least one meal each day...

Don't bother. Such a shame as the Salty Dog is an icon for Hilton Head. Maybe come for ice cream & a beer that way you aren't so disappointed that you have no intentions of purchasing a souvenir....
