Mary Anne Dooley, MD, MPH

I am a rheumatologist dedicated to caring for patients with arthritis and complex autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing arthritis, scleroderma, vasculitis, and gout. I specialize in diagnosing and treating inflammatory and autoimmune joint conditions with a personalized, evidence-based approach. My philosophy of care centers on listening closely to each patient’s story, providing guidance, and tailoring treatment to their unique needs. I am committed to combining the most advanced therapies with compassion and support, helping patients manage their condition, preserve independence, and achieve the best possible quality of life.

I became an advanced practice provider because I enjoy helping others help themselves. I believe everyone has the capacity to be successful, they just need the right tools. It is rewarding to teach people how to use the tools and watch them improve their lives. With patient care, I use a person-centered approach to care. I look at the person holistically (biological, psychological, social, spiritual) and use their strengths and beliefs to drive the path. Every person is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. I like to become an ally to help people figure out what is best for them.
