The Church of the Guardian Angel in New York City is a Roman Catholic parish that was founded in 1888, originally serving seamen near the bustling waterfront. Relocated to its current site on Tenth Avenue at 21st Street in 1930 to accommodate the elevated viaduct of the High Line, the church features a striking edifice designed by John V. Van Pelt in the Southern Sicilian Romanesque style.
