Dr. Aaron Ricca

Dr. Todd J. Purkiss, MD, PhD, pursued a doctorate in Perception and Sensory Physiology before his ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. Following his Medical Retina fellowship at Duke Eye Center, Dr. Purkiss remains actively involved in the Kentucky Medical Association, extending his expertise in human visual processing to the medical community.

Dr. Blake A. Isernhagen, MD graduated with Distinction from The University of Oklahoma, completing his Ophthalmology Residency at Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, and advanced Uveitis and Retinal training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He finalized his Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at the University of British Columbia as the William H. Ross Fellow, and now actively engages in uveitis and retinal disease research, lectures, teaching, and overseas eye care missions.

Dr. Jack L. Hollins, MD, an ophthalmology graduate from the University of Louisville, completed his vitreoretinal fellowship at the Vitreoretinal Foundation. With over a decade of higher education service, Dr. Hollins joined Retina Associates as a Medical Retina Specialist in 2019, bringing his extensive ophthalmology expertise to the Lexington community.
