Dr. Sara E. LeMay, OD, attained her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry post her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Kentucky. Specializing in medical optometry, Dr. LeMay expanded her ocular disease expertise during an Externship at the Veterans Hospital and is currently completing her Retina Preceptorship at Retina Associates of Kentucky.

Dr. Blake A. Isernhagen, MD graduated with Distinction from The University of Oklahoma, completing his Ophthalmology Residency at Dean A. McGee Eye Institute, and advanced Uveitis and Retinal training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He finalized his Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at the University of British Columbia as the William H. Ross Fellow, and now actively engages in uveitis and retinal disease research, lectures, teaching, and overseas eye care missions.

Dr. Todd J. Purkiss, MD, PhD, pursued a doctorate in Perception and Sensory Physiology before his ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville. Following his Medical Retina fellowship at Duke Eye Center, Dr. Purkiss remains actively involved in the Kentucky Medical Association, extending his expertise in human visual processing to the medical community.
