Riverfront Park

Since 1957 the Dance Depot has been teaching the art of dance throughout the Northern California area. Originally named Elsa's School of Dance, after founder Elsa Zoll, the Dance Depot has thrived as one of the Northern California's finest dance schools for well over 50 years. Currently owned and directed by Yvonna Kuyper, Elsa's daughter, the School has not missed a step in spreading the gift of dance throughout the local area.

Founded in 1981, Riverfront Playhouse is the longest continually operating all-volunteer community theatre in the region, initially established by a group of passionate local theatre enthusiasts. The first performance took place on July 10, 1981, and one year later, the organization achieved 501(c)(3) non-profit status. In 2020, Riverfront Playhouse relocated to its current venue at 1950 California Street in downtown Redding, where it continues to contribute to the local cultural landscape.
