Riverfront Playhouse

Riverfront Playhouse, established in 1981 by a group of local theater enthusiasts, is dedicated to providing a vibrant community theatre experience for the Redding area. As the region's longest continually operating all-volunteer community theatre, it has fostered a love for the performing arts and has become an integral part of the Redding Cultural District. Since opening its first production on July 10, 1981, Riverfront Playhouse has evolved into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relocated to its current venue at 1950 California Street in downtown Redding in 2020.
