Be Spectacled

History

Dr. Mark Veth had been in practice for 8 years working as an optometrist for Optivision Eye Care, a practice owned by two Ophthalmologists, Dr. Steven Dudley and Dr. Gerald Clarke. When they closed their Milwaukee clinic, Dr. Veth decided he was going to live the American Dream and hang his own shingle. On November 8th, 2010 he fulfilled that dream and Be Spectacled was born, and four days later his first child, Freddy was born. A big week in the life of the Veth's. Since then Be Spectacled has grown and continues to grow into an office where you can always be greeted with a smile, given great eye care, shop for high quality sunglasses and spectacles, and hang out in a comfortable atmosphere. You can even find Dr. Veth will playing the piano that is in the office sometimes.

Be Spectacled is a full service optometry office, where Dr. Mark Veth performs comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and LASIK consulations. He will also play you a song on the piano that is in the optical if you ask. Be Spectacled also carries several independent spectacle and sunglass lines, including Oliver Peoples, SALT, Oakley, Mykita, Paul Smith, DITA and many more.
