Tacoma Community College enrolls more than 14,000 students annually. The college offers over 40 professional and technical programs. Its campus includes a learning resource center, art gallery, athletic fields, and student and fitness centers. The college also organizes athletic events in basketball, soccer, volleyball and baseball. Tacoma Community College provides courses in accounting, biology, chemistry, computer science, dentistry, criminal justice and communication studies. The college has an adult basic skills department that offers the English as a Second Language program. In addition, it operates Gig Harbor Campus, which offers noncredit classes. The college provides continuing education and online courses. Tacoma Community College operates respiratory, human services and clay clubs.
