Highline Community College is one of 34 community and technical colleges in Washington. Founded in 1961 and located in Des Moines, Wash., the college enrolls more than 10,000 students in various programs. It offers associate degrees in arts, science and applied science, and various certificate programs. The college also offers professional technical education programs in subjects, including accounting, administration of justice, bookkeeping, business, manufacturing technology, and hotel and tourism. Highline Community College also provides e-commerce, early childhood education, visual communications, human services and interior design programs. It offers intercollegiate athletic programs, fitness center, library services, campus publications and clubs, and counseling and child care center for students.
