Founded in 1950, Pioneer Memorial Hospital is a nearly 12-bed acute care facility with cardiac care and swing bed units. The hospital's emergency room maintains an Oregon Trauma Level IV designation. It has a radiology department and emergency room. Pioneer Memorial Hospital s ancillary services include home health, hospice, physical therapy, radiology and laboratory. The hospital provides skilled nursing care under a one-unit swing bed program that is certified by Medicare and Medicaid. This program allows a patient to receive medically necessary services as an in-patient over an extended period of time. Pioneer Memorial Hospital has an X-Ray unit and digitizer that can convert X-Rays and CAT scans to a digital format. It is a part of the Morrow County Health District in Oregon.
