Diagnostic Imaging at Providence St. Mary Medical Center

Our program provides a special service for people who do not wish to receive blood transfusions under any circumstances. It gives patients the option to receive medical treatment without using blood or blood products. Our state-of-the-art technology and procedures include techniques and technology to expand or conserve a person’s own blood, reducing the need for a transfusion. They inlcude cell saver, harmonic scalpel, volume expanders and synthetic erythropoietin. Our program coordinator is available to answer your questions about the care that is right for you.

After surgery, a significant illness, stroke or other event that limits your ability to function, therapy can often make the difference in how fully you recover. With some diagnosis, therapy before and during treatment can also improve recovery. Providence St. Mary Outpatient Rehabilitation provides a wide range of therapy and rehabilitation services for individuals who are recovering from injuries or surgery, coping with a major diagnosis or physical limitation, or working to achieve a higher level of functioning. We also provide services to help athletes avoid serious injury as well as recover from sports injuries. We would be happy to discuss your options. A physician referral is required for evaluations and treatment. If you believe you would benefit from our services but do not have a referral, please discuss a referral with your primary care physician.

Lourdes Outpatient Therapy is available to everyone! You may be a weekend athlete seeking muscle relief or recovering from major surgery. No matter your reason, you will receive therapy from some of the most experienced and exceptionally trained physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists in the region.
