At Providence, we know how scary it is to learn that your newborn baby is sick or in need of extra medical attention. In our NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) we do everything humanly and medically possible to help your baby thrive. Our NICU works in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital to offer the best intensive care for premature, critically ill or unstable newborns north of Seattle. Our providers deliver complex care, monitoring and feeding for premature and sick newborns. We know how eager you are to bring your new baby home, but know that while they are at Providence, they are getting the best possible care to help them develop, grow and heal.

My interest in rheumatology started with undergraduate studies in immunology. This is a complex and rapidly changing field and I hope to make this understandable to my patients. I also strive to work with my patients to not only give them effective treatment options, but guide them towards the best choice that works for them.

I was born in India and grew up in both California and India. After finishing my fellowship in Seattle, I felt at home and decided to stay. I chose medicine because it lets me use science and connect with people to help them be healthier. I help with many sleep issues, such as sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders. I strive to be a caring, attentive, and knowledgeable partner for patients, working to improve their sleep and overall health.
