My interest in rheumatology started with undergraduate studies in immunology. This is a complex and rapidly changing field and I hope to make this understandable to my patients. I also strive to work with my patients to not only give them effective treatment options, but guide them towards the best choice that works for them.

I specialize in pulmonary medicine and treat diseases of the lungs and airways including pneumonia, pleurisy, asthma, occupational and environmental diseases, bronchitis, sleep disorders, emphysema and other complex disorders of the lungs. I believe in communicating with my patients to best help them reach their health goals.

At Providence, we know how scary it is to learn that your newborn baby is sick or in need of extra medical attention. In our NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) we do everything humanly and medically possible to help your baby thrive. Our NICU works in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital to offer the best intensive care for premature, critically ill or unstable newborns north of Seattle. Our providers deliver complex care, monitoring and feeding for premature and sick newborns. We know how eager you are to bring your new baby home, but know that while they are at Providence, they are getting the best possible care to help them develop, grow and heal.
