Formed in 1949, Washington State Human Rights Commission is a state agency, administering and enforcing the Washington law against discrimination. Located in Olympia, Wash., the commission works to eliminate and prevent discrimination in Washington through the fair application of the law, efficient use of resources and establishment of productive partnerships in the community. It also sponsors free education forums, including direct training seminars, publications and brochures to prevent and eliminate discrimination. Additionally, Washington State Human Rights Commission acts as a neutral fact finder.
