Robert Hensley joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2022, following a 27-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of COL. Robert understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Robert has a Master’s degree in Gov't Information (Cyber) from The National Defense University and a Master’s degree in Military Studies from The United States Marine Corps University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from George Mason University . He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in VA, DC, MD. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Robert serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors.
