Philip Leopold joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 1989, following a 5-year career in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Captain. Philip understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. Philip has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and a Master's degree in Systems Management from University of Southern California. He holds Series 6, 7, 65, 24 and 26 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in VA. Philip is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Philip is Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 1515. In his free time, Philip enjoys reading, running, and traveling. Dan Tomlinson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2012, following a 26-year career in the United States Army. There, he served as a Special Forces officer in peace and combat, culminating with service at the White House on the staff of the National Security Council. He retired with the rank of Colonel. Dan graduated from the National War College with a Master of Science degree in strategy, the University of California with a Master of Arts degree in international relations, and Siena College with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Dan is a Certified Financial Planner & Trade, a Retirement Income Certified Professional and a member of the Financial Services Institute. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. As a First Command Financial Advisor, Dan values teamwork and brings extensive financial knowledge, straight talk and trustworthy advice to every family he serves. Married to a federal employee and trained on federal benefit planning, Dan is skilled in helping federal employees integrate their benefits into a comprehensive financial plan. Active in his community, Dan is a lifetime member of the Special Forces Association and the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) Society. Dan is married with one child and enjoys hiking and spending time with his family.

Kurt Langenwalter joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2002, following a 25-year career in the United States Army. There, he attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and served in assignments from Alaska to Europe with notable positions that include deputy commander of an army community and deputy inspector general serving the secretary of the U.S. Army. Kurt earned a Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Brenau University. He is a Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Financial Consultant & Retirement Management Analyst, and member of the Financial Planning Association, Financial Services Institute, Investment and Wealth Institute and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health, long-term care and property and casualty insurance licenses. Kurt advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Kurt enjoys volunteering for charity organizations, RVing with an Airstream Trailer, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, and spending time with his son, United States Army Major Caley Langenwalter, and his wife, Retired United States Army Colonel Corey Langenwalter.
