Valerie H Malley joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in May 2018. A graduate of United States Air Force Academy with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences, Valerie H holds Series 7, and 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Valerie H serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Valerie H will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In her free time, Valerie H enjoys, hiking, running and spending time with family. Active in her community, Valerie H is Group Fitness Instructor. Bob Smith joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in February 1994, having previously served seven years in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Captain and was an accounting and finance officer. A graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, Troy State University with a Master of Public Administration degree and Liberty Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in Theology, Bob is a Certified Financial Planner certificant and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses and state life, health and property & casualty insurance licenses. Bob is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. An active member of his community, Bob serves as the executive pastor of his local church. He is married and has three daughters and two sons. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing and riding his motorcycle.
