Serving Vermont, the Farrell Distributing Corporation is a wholesale beverage distributor with offices and warehouse facilities located in South Burlington and Rutland, Vt. Thomas A. Farrell and several of his brothers started the company in 1933 as M. M. Farrell & Sons. M. M. Farrell & Sons was the first licensed distributor in Vermont after the end of the prohibition period. Farrell s product lines include beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Its beer suppliers include Anheuser-Busch, Genesee Brewing, Molson, Long Trail and Catamount. Wine products consist of Gallo, Sutter Home, Kobrand, Wine Group and Palm Bay. Its non-alcoholic division provides products from suppliers, such as Snapple, Mistic, Veryfine, Clearly Canadian and Paul DeLima Coffee. It also offers tea, soups and frozen beverages.
