Ryann Bierer

John R.W. Kestle, MD specializes in Craniofacial Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Brain Tumors. Dr. Kestle is Professor of Neurosurgery and Vice Chair of Clinical Research. His clinical practice has been exclusively in pediatric neurosurgery, with a specific interest in pediatric epilepsy surgery. His research is centered on clinical trials methodology, which he developed a multi-center network for running clinical trials in pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Kestle is also Chair of the Hydrocephalus Clinical Research Network.

Chris Rich, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. Dr. Rich graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in German and received his medical degree from the University Of Utah School Of Medicine. He completed his adult psychiatric residency at UC San Diego and his Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Utah .Dr. Rich currently works as a child psychiatrist at Primary Children’s Hospital Center for Counseling. As a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Rich’s clinical interests include childhood mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD treatment, early onset schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders.

Dr. Franz-O’Neal received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Inpatient Medicine for the Department of Pediatrics at Primary Children´s Hospital. Dr. Franz-O’Neal was born in Mexico City, Mexico and one of her primary interests is to improve the care of non-English speaking families. Other academic emphases include research in urinary tract infections in small infants and quality improvement in management of Somatic Symptoms Disorders.
