Kevin J. Whitehead

Karla L. Miller, M.D., is associate professor in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Utah--Department of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico-School of Medicine, and completed both her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship training at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She is a rheumatologist whose focus is the management of patients with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis. Dr. Miller offers consultative services for osteoporosis management including bone density testing, interpretation, and clinical assessment, in addition to her general rheumatology practice.

Dr. Daulton Grube is a pediatric resident at the University of Utah. He cares for children in the newborn through adolescent periods at the University Pediatric Clinic. He attended the University of Wyoming where he received a Bachelor of Science in microbiology before attending medical school at the University of Washington. He enjoys golf, pickleball and traveling with his wife. Dr. Grube’s interests within outpatient pediatrics are preventative care, care of the newborn, and sports medicine.

Dr. Mary Beth Scholand, MD is an associate professor in Pulmonary Medicine. Her research and clinical interest is Interstitial Lung Disease. This interest encompasses Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Autoimmune Lung Diseases and Sarcoidosis. She is the Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic. She runs clinical trials focused on a cure for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. In addition, her research focuses on phenotypic factors and genetic factors associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases and Interstitial Lung Diseases.
