In 1975, the way homemakers mill wheat into flour was forever revolutionized. The Blendtec kitchen mill-grain combined a versatile vacuum cleaner motor with a rotor and stator micronetic-milling chamber. In 1995, Blendtec again modernized the industry with its introduction of the first blender with a microprocessor chip. Blendtec produces two lines of kitchen appliances. The commercial line contains blenders, dispensers and mixers built for high production and durability. Its residential line includes blenders, bread makers, mixers and food processors, which have the same commercial quality but were created with special attention to appearance and home use function. Blendtec is located in Orem, Utah.
