J. Willard Marriott Library is a part of the University of Utah. The library houses more than 2.5 million items, including books, journals, magazines, newspapers, databases and reference materials. It maintains a special collection, including manuscripts, archives and historical photographs. It also offers more than 150,000 electronic publications. The library operates a writing center that conducts various writing sessions for students. In addition, J. Willard Marriott Library organizes educational and academic programs. The library provides a range of services that includes renewals, interlibrary loans, computer access, photocopying and printing. Its 500,000-square-foot facility includes a computer laboratory, technology studio and meeting room. J. Willard Marriott Library is located in Salt Lake City.

What a difference six years can make! Marriott is the main library on campus at the University of Utah. The exterior has been remodeled. It kind of had a venerable look when I attended the school...

This library is my absolute favorite. I prefer to come here on weekends because it is free to park. I love the hours of the library and all of the resources it offers. I spend a lot of time here...

For graduate students the library is not very accommodating at times. Every semester you need to register your card in order to get into the graduate reading room. Not enough staff are on hand...
