Grove Market was constructed and founded by Greek immigrant, Pete Savas, in 1947. The original business idea was for a neighborhood grocery/produce store in which Pete's children could all learn to manage as they grew. After Pete's passing in 1953, his family took over full operation of the store and continue to this day. In response to growing competition the family decided to create additional services to the neighborhood corner-store in the early 1970s.

Such a good spot! The sandwiches are absolutely huge, and very good. The market has a bunch of fun snacks and drinks to choose from as well. This is the best sandwich spot I've been to in SLC so far.
