Eric R. Scaife, MD clinical interests include all aspects of Pediatric Surgery including common issues such as: inguinal hernia umbilical hernia hydrocele undescended testicle Cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder) G Tubes (placement of a stomach tube) Vascular access (ports and central lines) Ulcerative colitis inflammatory bowel disease (Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis) gastroesophageal reflux disease appendectomy (removal of the appendix) chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum) pediatric endocrine surgery (thyroid and adrenal tumors/pancreas surgery) Dr. Scaife has a special interest in pediatric trauma and pediatric oncology (Wilms’ tumor, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, liver tumors and neuro-endocrine tumors)

Dr. Guthery is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Nutrition at the University of Utah and the Medical Director of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Primary Children's Hospital. His interests include the care of infants, children and adolescents with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and liver disease. His area of research includes the epidemiology, natural history, and genetic basis of childhood-onset ulcerative colitis, Crohn disease, and cholestatic liver diseases. Dr. Guthery is board certified in General Pediatrics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, and Pediatric Transplant Hepatology. Dr. Guthery has served as an expert clinical/scientific consultant for several non-profit agencies and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Guthery is a native of the Mountain West and has been at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital for more than 20 years.

Dr. Moore received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. He received his pediatric and pediatric cardiology training from the Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. He has advanced training in fetal, transthoracic, and transesophageal echocardiography. Dr. Moore is board-certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. His clinical practice includes general outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology as well as fetal cardiology. Additionally, he has formal training and research interests in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical outcomes to enhance the way we care for our patients. He serves as the Heart Center Quality Director for Primary Children's Hospital.
