Dean W. Smith is board-certified in orthopedic surgery. He has clinical interests in minimally invasive hand surgery, endoscopic and arthroscopic upper extremity surgery, hand trauma, hand reconstruction, arthritis, fracture management, tendon and nerve disorders. He is also certified in Surgery of the Hand.Smith has earned a reputation for delivering excellent care in the overall management of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, arm, and shoulder for patients of all ages, and has been practicing in Houstons Texas Medical Center since 2001. Patients are referred to him for evaluation and treatment from all over the southwestern United States.
