Richard Ursone, M.D. - Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Taber is an orthopedic surgeon with TSAOG Orthopaedics (formerly The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group). He is board certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS), fellowship trained in sports medicine, and treats patients aged 14 years and up. As a sports medicine physician, Doctor Taber has a special interest in sports injuries, complex shoulder and knee arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy to repair labral tears, total hip replacement, and total knee replacement. He has appointments available at our Quarry Area, Stone Oak, and Westover Hills locations.

Dr. Balldin is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with TSAOG Orthopaedics (formerly The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group). He is fellowship trained in sports medicine, certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS), and treats patients aged 6 years and up for any sports-related injury as well as conditions of the shoulder, hip, and knee. As a sports medicine physician, Doctor Balldin has a special interest in sports injuries and arthroscopic repair and reconstruction of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He has appointments available at our Schertz, Medical Center, Stone Oak, and Quarry Area locations.

The Bone Health Program at TSAOG Orthopaedics & Spine was created to identify those patients presenting with fractures that might indicate osteoporosis. We will investigate to determine if osteoporosis is present, and, if needed, start the patient on a course of treatment to manage their osteoporosis to reduce their risk of future fractures.
