Prada Marfa is a site-specific, permanent land art project located in Valentine, TX, one mile west of the town. Commissioned by Art Production Fund and Ballroom Marfa, the sculpture resembles a Prada boutique showcasing luxury goods from the brand's fall 2005 collection, although it will never operate as a commercial space.
Established in 2005 by artists Elmgreen Dragset, Prada Marfa is a unique art installation that has become a landmark in West Texas. Designed by architects Ron Rael and Virginia San Fratello, the project continues to captivate visitors with its intriguing blend of art and fashion.

Review #40 Just so you know.... Prada Marfa is NOT in Marfa. It is a good drive from Marfa in Valentine, Texas. The drive from Marfa super fun because you get to see one of those crazy HUGE...

You can't go to Marfa without visiting the Prada store. Plan your outfit beforehand and stop on your way to town. It's about 35 miles outside of Marfa on 90 if coming from El Paso.
