It performs stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy mammography. The institute has a staff of pathologists, radiologists, and radiation and medical oncologists. The ETMC Cancer Institute also has a mammosite radiation therapy system. The institute organizes cancer conferences and screening programs. It is approved by the American College of Surgeons and is accredited by The Joint Commission. In addition, the institute conducts clinical trials. It is a part of the ETMC Regional Healthcare System.
