David Liao, DO of Dr. David Liao Orthopaedic Center, LLC, is an orthopaedic surgeon on a mission to treat not only a specific physical condition, but the whole person. He has been in private practice since 1998, and values the long-term doctor-patient relationships he has built with so many of his patients over the years.Dr. Liao earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Liao's education led him to Mount Clemens General Hospital, Michigan State University for his orthopaedic surgery residency and he did an upper extremity (shoulder and elbow) fellowship at Tampa General Hospital, University of South Florida.Currently, Dr. Liao is a member of several professional affiliations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and Texas Medical Association. He is the only physician in both Hunt and Rockwell counties who performs small-incision hip and knee surgeries. He also specializes in total joint replacement surgery, sports medicine, and upper extremity disorders.
