About Little River Crafts Little River Crafts is a family business of cottage-industry trades. We produce hand-made rustic and fine craft items, mostly with local materials. Our shop is located on 50 acres of woodlands in the Piedmont of North Carolina, along the bank of the Little River. Most of the wood used in our projects comes from our own timber, which we maintain as a renewable tree farm. As much as possible, we harvest naturally fallen, dead, or damaged trees. Little River Crafts is not a large corporation and we do not import items for resale. Each of our products is handmade in the USA by a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his work. Every piece is individually crafted with care not mass produced. As such, no two items are exactly the same. We create unique, one-of-a-kind keepsakes that deliver years of beauty and enjoyment for their owners. Please take a few minutes to peruse this website. Much of our business is done by special order and we enjoy the challenge of a custom design.
