The Katy Heritage Society, established in 1979, is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the historical landmarks, natural beauty, documents, and objects that are unique to Katy and its surrounding areas.
Located at Katy Heritage Park, the society offers visitors the opportunity to explore five historic Katy structures, adorned with period-appropriate historical items, as well as a charming bandstand. With a commitment to education and cultural development, the society provides free tours of the historic homes on the first weekend of every month, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the rich history of Katy.

My experience at the museum was great. Not only because of all of the things that you can see but mainly because of Brett, the tour guide. He made my visit really worthy. There's so much to learn...

Walked in, said hello to the man at the desk and no response. Mother-in-law asked if there was a fee to get in and he replied very rudely that there was not. I won't be bringing any more friends...
