Very nice place with lots of places to take pictures. You do have to have permission from the society to take professional pictures on site, but it's ok if it's just for yourself. Nice walking...

The Katy Heritage Society, established in 1979, is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the historical landmarks, natural beauty, and cultural heritage of Katy and its surrounding areas in Texas.
Located at Katy Heritage Park, the society offers visitors the opportunity to explore five historic Katy structures, adorned with period-appropriate historical items, as well as a charming bandstand. The park grounds are open from dawn until dusk, and guided tours of the historic homes are available on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month.
