Amazing trail! Lots of inclines and declines. Be prepared for your calves and quads to get a workout. Really good trail. Lots of nice places to stop and enjoy the elements. It's of natural creeks....

The Hamilton Greenbelt in Lakeway, TX, established in April 1990 through a generous donation from Jack and Myrtle Hamilton, offers a premier trail network that includes developed and primitive trails along Hurst and Yaupon creeks. Additional land donations and volunteer efforts have expanded the trail system to include Smith Greenbelt and Hurst Creek Preserve, providing a scenic setting for family outings, walks, jogs, and bike rides.
With main trailheads at Lohmans Crossing and Palos Verdes Drive, as well as other access points along Sailmaster Street, Squires Drive, and Clubhouse Drive, visitors can explore the Hamilton Greenbelt's natural beauty and amenities, such as the Chapel of the Four Seasons near the entrance of Hamilton Greenbelt Trail I, maintained by the Garden Club and available for intimate gatherings and weddings.

This was the prettiest "easy" hiking we've done in a bit. Decided to take the dogs out. Super pretty! Easy trails and water views of the creek. Take water. It's a long hike if you make it one. :)
