Peter P. and I and our pups explored this short but scenic greenbelt today and I will definitely be back when in the area. The trail runs parallel to Hurst Creek with several pretty waterfalls...

Smith Greenbelt provides the citizens of Lakeway with a short but wonderful hiking trail which wanders along Hurst Creek. It is a fabulous place for a family outing, a lunchtime jog, or to walk the dog (on a leash, of course). The 4.5 acre greenbelt was made possible through a generous donation from Coleman and Mary Smith.
