Granger Lake

Granger Lake is a lake near Taylor TX about an hour NE of Austin. Unlike Lake Travis it seems to maintain an almost constant level of 540 if I remember correctly and has 2 developed swim beaches...

Bathrooms are as bad as they come. No lights, Water on the floor, plumbing doesn't work well, unbearable stench, hand dryer doesn't work, no towels, and this is the men's side. The women's side...

Got a little bored at home, and decided to take a drive & get some sunset pics. Granger Lake is about a 45 min drive from my home in Georgetown. This was my first time here, so I wasn't sure...

It is a very relaxing environment. They have recently planted saplings to help with the shading. All picnic tables are covered. Park is well maintained by Volunteers. Gorgeous sunsets on the lake!

Nice clean spaces. Lots of room between camp sites. Electric and water all worked great. Good prices we paid $22 for electric and water site. Will hopefully return in future.
