Karen Twitty joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 2021. As a military spouse, she understands the unique situations and circumstances that place pressure on military families and is committed to helping them discover the confidence and peace of mind that come from financial security. Karen has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Kansas. Karen earned her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.), Curriculum & Instruction from Liberty University in 2023. She holds Series 7, 66, and SIE securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in TX, CO, KS, MD, MS, SC, VA, WA, and GA. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Karen serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Karen will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in her community, Karen is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Community Bible Church. A graduate of Athens State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Hannah holds Series Series 66 &67 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in TX & GA. Hannah is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family she serves. In her free time, Hannah enjoys reading, spending time with family, and traveling. Eric Young joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2018, following a 32-year career in the United States Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral. A graduate of Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Eric received a Master of Science degree in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Eric works closely with his clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Eric is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey. Still actively involved in the military community, Eric is a member of the Navy League of the United States. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, attending sporting events and spending time with his family.
