Eric Young joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in June 2018, following a 32-year career in the United States Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral. A graduate of Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Eric received a Master of Science degree in Financial Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Eric works closely with his clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Eric is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey. Still actively involved in the military community, Eric is a member of the Navy League of the United States. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, attending sporting events and spending time with his family.
