El Gato Coffeehouse & Cat Cottage is Houston's first cat cafe! We're partnered with the Houston Humane Society and all of our cats are adoptable! El Gato is currently in soft opening mode with the Cat Cottage being open regularly. The full-service coffeehouse will open this summer. In the meantime, attend one of our events or book a visit to the Cat Cottage to visit our resident gatos!

lots of cars to play with :) I saw a little black one that reminded me of my baby that passed. It was really nice spending some time with him.

Only have light food option. Service is extremely accommodating. Relaxed ambiance. We will be back to chill.

The coffee is actually in the truck outside and the inside is the cat cafe! Inside is so spacious. I think the capacity is 20 ppl and there were so many cats. You could buy cat treats to feed them...

I wish we could do half stars on Yelp, I'd say 4.5 stars! I'm so happy to have found and got to visit El Gato Coffeehouse and Cat Cottage! It's a really big space inside with 15-20 cats to play...
