The Anderson County Special Education Co-Op is dedicated to providing essential services to eligible children aged 3-21 who experience developmental delays or disabilities, including those with vision or hearing impairments from birth to age 21. These services are delivered at no cost to families through the respective school districts where the children reside.

To maintain the privacy of students, the Special Education Department destroys personally identifiable information after a retention period of seven years following a student's departure from the district. Parents and adult students are notified annually about the record destruction process, allowing them the opportunity to collect records if desired.
