He says he was drawn to this field of medicine because he was interested in caring for families over a lifetime. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Hicks loves spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoys biking, swimming, sailing, and many water sports, especially wind and wing surfing. “I consider it an honor and privilege to be trusted to help people with their medical care. In addition to my patients, I also enjoy volunteer work in medical missions, mentoring, and our local crisis pregnancy center.”

Dr. McMichael has more than 30 years of medical experience and specializes in primary care. He says he was drawn to this specialty because he enjoys caring for people and preventative medicine fascinates him.
