The Crazy Horse Memorial in Crazy Horse, SD, is a unique 501(c)(3) educational and humanitarian project. It is dedicated to protecting and preserving the cultures, traditions, and living heritage of the North American Indians. The Memorial prominently features the colossal Mountain Carving of Lakota hero Crazy Horse, which is the most recognizable aspect of the project. In addition to the Mountain Carving, the Memorial offers visitors the chance to explore The Indian Museum of North America® and The Indian University of North America®. These elements enrich the overall experience by providing a deeper understanding of Native American history and culture.
