The Lett Group

History

The Lett Group started in 1983 as the training dept. of Creative Planning International, Inc., an independent international meetings consultancy in Washington, DC. As CPI took corporate and association clients to overseas meetings, The Lett Group talk the participants how to do business in the country they were visiting. This training included the basic etiquette of doing business there, dining skills, negotiation skills, communication skills, how to make a great impression, how to develop meaningful relationships with companies and how to handle unfamiliar situations. After 22 years of planning meetings in 102 countries, Cynthia Lett put aside planning meetings and concentrated on teaching American and foreign business professionals how to present themselves in the course of their careers.

Cynthia Lett and The Lett Group are internationally known as business etiquette and international protocol authorities and consultants. Since 1983, they have taught more than 100,000 individuals in business and socially acceptable etiquette and how to do business with unfamiliar cultures.
