He received many highly competitive travelling fellowships during his residency including the prestigious USI traveling fellowship. After his residency, he practiced as an attending urologist at a university hospital and used many innovative techniques to improve patient care. He then moved to the United States in 2019 to complete his advanced training in reconstructive urology at the University of Florida followed by urological oncology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston. Dr. Tanneru has written for multiple peer-reviewed publications and delivered professional presentations at various national and international conferences.
