Designer Emily Kotarski started this business when she realized that while shopping for dresses brides would fall in love with a silhouette and fabric, but hate the lace of a certain gown and vice versa. This gave her the idea to allow brides to try on dresses without any embellishment so that they could fall in love with the shape and fabric and then simply choose what goes on top of the gown.
