History

Kira's first project was a wedding gown. It was a special project for a class she was invited to participate in...for a Chocolate Extravaganza! She participated in a fashion show and teamed up with culinary school students were they had to design a garment inspired by AND partly made out of chocolate. Kira designed a wedding gown with roses on the side that were dipped in chocolate and the culinary student made chocolate roses for a hairpiece, this was the beginning. With a degree from the University of Minnesota, Kira relocated to Charleston for warmer weather after interning with designers in New York, Kira moved down to Charleston in Spring of 2009 and officially started the business shortly after. Brides could not be more lucky to have Kira in Charleston! Her gowns are ethereal and dreamy and she designs with a keen eye to detail and fit. Kira utilizes unique textures and fabrics with non-traditional colors.
